Goanet admin team member from Toronto Bosco D'Mello told me Marlon Menezes, a very old time Goanetter and founder of Goacom.org (apart from the GoanWeb in 1994), is in Goa. George Pinto of GoaSudharop promised to come. So did our ex-airlines' Melinda. And he's in touch with Eustaquio Santimano of Colva, the guy who played a key role in building the Don Bosco's alumni network for Goa, for India and beyond in an online solution. Nasci is going to be around. We hope that Cip (Cypriano Fernandes), an ex engineer in Goa now in the UK for many years, can make it too. Tony CA, who has been present for many Goanetters' meets, is not able to make it as he and family have gone to Pondicherry and the east coast for the season. Vivian (Shenzi) from Socorro is also in Chennai and Bangalore. I hope to meet Rajan Parrikar, compliment on his great photos and rib him about his anti-poor anti-migrant "biases". Augusto Pinto, the Konkani (devanagari) to English translator and classy reviewer of books, will be there too. Cecil, Miguel won't give it a miss. Hope Soter and his singing brother Sigmund can make it. Godgrey Gonsalves and Daniel (Vasco) hopefully be there. Vincent Andrade, what are you upto and where are you? Isabela Santa Rita Vas, do come along, and Alexyz and Joel we're all looking forward to you too. If you want to locate me, look out for the guy with the scraggiest, greyest and longest beard around. Though this was meant to be a secret, we have a broad hint that JoeGoaUK will also be putting in an appearance. But you'll need to ask around to find out who he is, just in case he thinks of walking off to buy snacks while the introductions are in progress :-) Some other 'silent' Goanetters have also written in to say they'd be there. We hope to have a great little chief guest -- none other than nine-year-old Ivana Furtado, the global chess champ that Goa (yes Goa!) has created.
