Lecturer got Doctorate in Konknni
Prakash Vazrikar, the lecturer and head of the department of Konknni,
Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola, Goa, has been
awarded the Ph D degree for his thesis in Konknni entitled “Konknni
Kadomboreantlem Somaz Dorxon: Achchev ani Karmelin Kadombreanchea Sondorbant”.
Dr (Fr) Pratap Naik, S.J., Director of Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr, Alto
Porvorim was the guide and guided Vazrikar in his research. He is the second
person to obtain Ph D in Konknni. In 2005 Ms Jayanti Naik got her Ph D. in
Konknni for her research topic “ Konknni Lokvedantli Bailechi Protima: Ek
Somajik Sonvskrutik Obheas”.
