I have in front of my house in Navelim - 69 Rattvado some Gaddas which are on Church land. I had written to the then parish priest Rev Fr Costa proposing a resolution to the removal of these gaddas, which are an ugly sight. I have also had a meeting with the present parish priest Fr Leonard Moraes, with regard to this matter. I am prepared to buy the portion of land adjoining the road which belongs to the Church. If the Church is not prepared to sell, then at least have the gaddas removed/relocated. My last port of call will be a recourse to the Courts. I wish to have this issue resolved amicably, failing which I shall have no alternative but to pursue this through the appropriate venues. I shall be in Goa from 13th January onwards.
