I was glad to read the postings from Cedric De Costa and Nigel Britto,
both
supporting Rajan's previous e-mails ridiculing Diggu's attempt to seek
   credit for scrapping of SEZs.
If we want to give credit to Diggu for this, why not credit Musharraf
with
lifting of emergency in Pakistan or Bush and Blair for liberation of
Iraq?
In my last mail, I had expressed my apprehension about Goanet being
infected
by viruses. Religious bigotry is the most potent and lethal virus
affecting
the world today and Goanet needs to be careful.
To accuse Rajan of such bigotry is wrong . Attacks on Nelson Ferrao were
similarly uncalled for. I feel particularly dismayed that his light
hearted
comment about shooting the migrants at the border can be used again and
again when everyone who reads Goanet should by now know that Rajan
shoots
but only with his camera. However, as Dennis Healey once famously said,
'
it is like being savaged by dead sheep'. I hope that is how Rajan and
Nelson
   Ferrao feel.
