clarion call to protest against the draconian Regional Development Plan and
when GBA took to the streets to fight for Goa's forests and hills, thousands

plan.
Dr OSCAR REBELLO, the convener of the Goa Bachao Abhiyan who led the relentless
fight to save the natural habitat of GOA, is one of the nominees for the CNN
