I don't think many US based Goans (and Indians) understand the impact MLK made 
in the United States.

I hear all the time, my fellow Indians referring to African Americans as 
"Kallu's". These guys have no idea, that without the sacrifices of the African 
American people, Indians would never be able to come to the US and make a 
living.
