He charged the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to come back to power
through the backdoor means, while speaking to the media, at the South
Goa collectorate, at Margao.
"The Congress has come to power through legitimate means and it is
only the BJP which does not want to see him as the Chief Minister only
because of the pro-people decisions which he has taken for the good of
Goans," the Chief minister said while answering a question.

Manohar did this the first time.
While the then CM was in Australia on his educational visit, Manohar gathered
loose canons hungry for power and took over, without the consent of the Goan
people.
