Sunaparant, Front Page, dated 26th January 2008, reports that while
unveiling life-size statue of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia at Lohia Maidan Digamber
Kamat announced that all rules and regulations of Government of Goa will be
translated from English to Konkani. I believe he did not say a word on in
which script it will be i.e. whether it would be in Romi Script or Devnagri
Script or its going to be in Kanada script or Malayalam Script or in all
scripts in which Konkani is written.
Though this clarification is essential............it's a good announcement.
