National Seminar on Nanomaterials and Drug Delivery
St. Xaviers College, Mapusa, in
association with National Institute of
Oceanography, Dona Paula, will be organizing a
two day National seminar on Advances in
Nanomaterials and Drug delivery at NIO on
22-23rd February 2008. This Seminar cum workshop
is aimed to cover novel synthetic strategies of
nanomaterials, applications in Information
Technology & Electronic industry, and Challenges
in drug delivery and strategies to address the challenges of 21st century.
Nanotechnology is one of the most
exciting research areas at present, which may
lead to the some of the greatest Scientific and
technological advances in this country.
Currently, India is focusing on academic areas of
nanotechnology, which trains the young generation
so that they can take up challenges of
nanotechnology when it comes up in a big way in a
decade. Nano-science and Nanotechnology has
revolutionized the electronic and information
technology industry. The emergence of
nanotechnology is having a significant impact on
drug delivery sector affecting every route of administration.
