Dear Bhandare,
I fully agree with you and with Aloysius that all should react strongly
to the persecution of anybody by anybody.
When a calamity takes place anywhere in the world, the Holy Father is
always there with his speech and prayer. So also our Bishops and the
Conference of the Catholic Bishops of India.
In all our churches we announce and pray for those in need, and when
possible we help them by all means.
This is Christian solidarity.

Subject: [Goanet] CHRISTIANS synonymous with LOVE

really call ourselves Christians?"

I think a good christian should react strongly every
time an innocent person is oppressed or persecuted by
militants irrespective of the religious persuasion of
the oppressor as well as the victim.
The same hold true for a good
muslim/hindu/sikh/buddhist/agnostic etc.
