I found it quite new for me. The question is quite strange. Christianity has
come from Judaism and totally renewed it. This is what we know. Jesus
ushered in a 'Movement' which took its cultural dressings from place to
place. It is the phenomenon of 'in-culturation'.

*I believe that you are a Catholic. If you know Egyptian mythology, then you
know that Christianity has nothing to do with it. Mary, Mother of Jesus, is
called Our lady of Perpetual Succour or Help of Christians. What we have in
Genesis is the transformation of Canaanite myths: Yahweh is the God who
creates through his Word, not Baal. There is a vigorous polemic against the
fertility cults. We have monotheism in the Bible.

*After all, dressing is a cultural phenomenon. It is coming from the
surrounding culture. There is a common background for all clothes. We have
been influenced more by the Roman Empire. Clothes also distinguish Catholics
from other denominations. In India we have different dressing. Now we have
to face the phenomenon of 'trans-culturation' with Westernization and
urbanization...

*You should understand that there is symbolism lying behind all ancient
myths. It is representation of God under different images. You better read
the Bible and see what you find there for feeding your Faith in God.
Biblical symbolism will help you better.
