BBC [http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=2196] reported winds of 11mph touching down in Goa on Friday. On Thursday evening, when passing through the Panjim market to pick up some fruit and chicken, it was an unusual site to see the vendors shivering in sweaters, something one hardly wears in Goa (unless you're off to early morning school, or riding a two-wheeler late evening).
It has been cold here. Goa has been reporting minimum temperatures of 17degreesC. But nearby Mumbai is worse, at 9degC. At home, we ended up wearing sweaters at one in the afternoon! Don't remember such cold weather as far as I can remember!
