One Goan friend of mine worked for Blitz in the 70s.
Perhaps there were more. One East Indian who worked
there and I knew was Eddie Fernandes, who later
switched on to the sports department of Indian
Express.

  To clarify the matter further, Oscar and Russi were friends much before Oscar 
began writing for Blitz. My connection with Russi may have begun as 
employer-employee, but I was the featured employee, and a friendship soon 
developed. But he was far older than me, so he and I naturally moved in 
different circles.
