Thanks for your reminder to us that we should heed more the teachings of
Christianity.
Although I respect your opinion, I cannot agree with you. You seem to be
'prophet of doom'.
It is a poor compliment to Jesus himself who is active in the world and
modern society.
Let us open our eyes to the good in every religion, culture, society...
The true Word of God was heard from the river-sides and the hill slopes
of
Jerusalem during the 3 years of public life of the man called Jesus Christ
aprox. 2008 years ago. They got drowned the moment he was crucified. In
its
place what goes by is just super lip-service and ineffective/times wasting
rituals.
*No, it is being heard today also amidst our frailty. He remains powerful
with his death
and Resurrection.
Liturgy ('rituals') has a place in our human lives.
'Lip-service' (much more 'super lip-service') is to be avoided. It is a
challenge for us all.
