Thank you, Frederick, for your wishes.

Although I qualify for an "expat" label, I have never
thought of myself as one.  Home has always been, 
will be, Goa.  I have remained closely engaged with 
Goa in some form or the other all these years I have 
been away.

If I have not been vocal on the Goan forums on 
matters political and otherwise, it is because other
matters have occupied my mind the past decade
or two.  There was also the recognition that to be 
really effective, one has to be on the ground here.

Although remote from Goa, Goan expats nevertheless 
can play a crucial role, more so now with all these 
issues our homeland faces.
