Anandbab virgincar wrote about Moti Dongor, Khareband and the Digambar who had the same votes for him when he was wearing the BJP shirt - but no one said very much then.
Anandbab also wrote - Moral of the story : One's who sprouted from the Goan soil are becoming less relevant ( and will be totally irrelevant in a generation or two ) vis a vis their say in Goan politics. And the Catholic community is likely to be first affected as they are the only one's not contributing to this new vote bank power. == jc's comment: My dear Anandbab, The effect on the Catholic Goan community began (in earnest) several years ago - 42 to be exact. (i.e. 1965) As far as that community aka Minority Community is concerned - their goose has been fully cooked. No point turning to them now. They have been reduced to the point of surviving under the alleged leaderships of mainly those that have remained - and calling it a good time. The others, like Jews (or Palestinians if you will) have spread out all over the world. Their children are now Americans, Portuguese, Canadians, Australians, Brazilians et al. Some of their property has been already been swiped and resold sold to the highest bidder from wherever. The proverbial horses are gone thanks to the corrupt and the communal. Now, the nuevo Vasco da Gamas from the west are hoping to turn the clock 35 years back. The clock battery was stolen, guys .............42 years ago! http://www.colaco.net/1/letdown.htm jc
