== jc's response: Thank you for your response, Mr. Gadgil ( I am aware that you were out of station - hence the delay in responding) I submit that there is a strong case that can be made out in favour of Hearsay. And all this time, I thought that this was a "fact-finding committee. It perhaps was one. Unfortunately, it appears to have been offered Hearsay! There is one question which you have (perhaps inadvertently) missed: Do you agree with the hearsay/fact-finding committee's Conclusions? Your response will allow us to ask you ...on what basis? BTW: I did note your mention about a 'magisterial inquiry'. Do forgive me if I have as much faith in one-man 'magisterial inquiries' as I have in newspapers run by vested interests. The Chandrachud Inquiry, which determined that there was NO match-fixing in cricket, did that to me. So, once again Mr. Gadgil - Do you agree with the hearsay/fact-finding committee's Conclusions? If your answer is YES, please advise us On what basis? sincerely jc Question everything -- Karl Marx (as quoted by Mr. Vidyaghar Gadgil)
