National Seminar on Nanomaterials and Drug Delivery
St. Xaviers College, Mapusa, in
association with National Institute of
Oceanography, Dona Paula, will be organizing a
two day National seminar on Advances in
Nanomaterials and Drug delivery at NIO on
22nd-23rd February 2008. This Seminar cum
workshop will enlighten on the recent
developments in Nanomaterials and their
applications in Information Technology &
Electronic industry, and Challenges in drug delivery.
The key note will be delivered by Dr.
Jayesh Bellare, Professor, Department of Chemical
Engineering, & School of Biosciences and
Bioengineering, Project Leader for Nanotechnology
and Science, IIT, Mumbai. Prof. Lalit Kukreja,
from Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology,
Indore, will speak on. Recent Advances in Nanomaterials for Electronic Industry
The other resource persons are Dr.
Mansing Shingte, Group Sanofi-Aventis, Goa, will
deliver a talk on An Overview of Novel Drug
Delivery Systems. Dr. Solimabi Wahidulla,
Scientist NIO will speak on Drug discovery and
Drug Delivery. Dr. B. Tansali and Dr. K. S. Rane
will also deliver talks on Nanomaterials and
their specific applications. Dhrub Kalita from
I.I.T., Mumbai will present case studies of nanomaterials for Drug delivery.
Pharmaceutical and other organizations would find
this seminar offering a platform to interact with
leaders of Nanomaterials and learn what advances
