After Babush released on bail he had a press conference for reporters. One of the striking things that he revealed is - when Digamber Kamat was power minister in Manohar Parrikar regime, his brother-in-law (Mr. Pinky Lawande, as reported by local papers) was slapped by one senior police officer in Shirish Thorat. This incidence was taken up as personal insult by Digamber Kamat and he pressurized Manohar Parrikar to immediately transfer Thorat which was done at the pressures of Digamber.
My question is why Digamber Kamat's brother-in-law was slapped by Thorat? What was the main reason(s)? And why Digamber took that incidence has personal insult? Does any one in the net know about this incidence and the answers to these questions? Best regards, Dr. U. G. Barad
