Talking Photos: CPP workers strike enters 4th day/Panjim Market Bandh Today

Some of the rotting garbage there was usually dumped in the nearby river like chicken legs, chicken breast skin, unwanted fish etc etc ( see pics links/below) The river bank seen rubbish-free these days. It seems everything is well planned by the CCP and its workers. Shame on CCP (acting Mayor n councillors), Shame on Parrikar the City MLA you guys are supposed to be the city fathers, if you can't handle this, I guess all of you should resign. Shame on you all for dragging CCP workers (mostly non-Goans) into your own selfish political battle. Houses in Panjim pay upto Rs. 400 per month as council tax. I remember, few years ago where I used to stay at Miramar, one block had 80 appartments and 3bed apt was paying about Rs.3500 pa, (That's Rs.2,80,00 pa/block) the same must have gone up now. Once I paid More than Rs.7000 for less than two years (with Interest) from the date of taken possession till we occupy our apt. Where these money going only God Knows. Every contract the CCP award no matter how small or big, I understand they take a cut of 10% from the contractor. Perhaps, they (CPP) all share these money amongst themselves. Check this out..
