For months I have had this idea of an American-style town hall forum, where we invite a politico to a public platform, engage him in a conversation with a moderator, and then have him take uncensored questions from the audience. Civil behavior is absolutely essential - we do not want disrupters and hecklers in there. The goal is to get a genuine exchange going. It can/should be tough and animated but it should not be used to settle scores or to make personal accusations. I am hoping that our current proposal will be a first step leading towards the town hall type format (I have no delusions that it will come to pass, but a man is occasionally allowed to dream).
