To Goanet - Well why not? After all, Goa is every stinking Indian's personal fiefdom, his personal trashcan.

According to reports in Nagaland newspapers the Morung Express and Nagaland Post, the NPF, which is part of the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland together with the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleged that Dr S C Jamir camped in Nagaland on February 29 where he and his son C Apok, called almost all the youth from the constituency individually and promised them job placement in his State, if C Apok was voted to power, right after the election. The statement also said that with the arrival of the Goa Governor in Mokokchung, the paramilitary forces have been frisking citizens without any rhyme or reason, and creating a fear psychosis. The Governor of any State in the Union of India is the guardian of the Constitution and such loose gubernatorial involvement in State politics is highly condemnable and uncalled for, it stated. The NPF has alerted the Election Commission, the President of India and asked that they initiate appropriate action. This episode is a litmus test for the All India Congress Committee in the eye of the Naga people, the statement said.
