Miguel -- I was just focusing on the "grain of truth" in your tongue in cheek response. Fyi, I did not start taking the airport issue seriously after seeing your post(s). I have been at it on goanet for over 3 years. If the folks at BLR and HYD had been reading them they would have started making a noise about the looming disaster well before the curtains were about to come down on their civil enclaves. Now we can say, "There but for the grace of God goes Goa".
Nothing will come of the Yechury plea. They should have castigated the planning of the PPP projects in no uncertain terms that's all. If this is utterly discredited then there is hope that the "two airports for 20 years" idea will be given a fair trial in future. Its not just Goa which is on the line, but Pune, Agra and who knows which other airports with civil enclaves like Dabolim. There is no point in giving up the ghost before even a finger is lifted (aka "defeatism"). Btw, which airport (singular) do YOU really want to see remain standing -- Mopa or Dabolim? Why? Seriously. :)
