Dear Anand, "Happy birthday" mhunn, Baba, na zalear "Zolmachea disachim porbim"! At least on his birthday, Digu Kaka gets bouquets from a man who normally sends him brickbats ;-)
Yes, whether we like him or not, Digamber Kamat has handled the SEZ issue beautifully thus far. He rightfully deserves the credit for it. He is a genteel man. Perhaps, being born on the International Women's Day helps remind him that there are better ways of doing the same thing. Most married men are henpecked and only a few notice it at all! His cabinet colleagues are under no less control than MP's but hardly anyone is complaining loudly anymore. Perhaps, we will get a good Regional Plan 2021, too. He is in no hurry. Neither are the people of Goa. The builders can wait. Hopefully, so can the gamblers, miners and others. I would not go overboard with the prognosis; Manohar Parrikar also had a good run in the first two years [2000-2002]. He laughs best who laughs last! Mog asundi.
