RESPONSE: I am more than taken a back by Miguel's response - Justice is not served by punishing the culprits ? If that be the case what is Scarlett's mom doing running from pillar to post; seeking answers and for justice, or just so that what happened to her daughter, does not happen to anyone else again ? How long did it take to release the body of Gregory Fernandes in UK for a > decent burial in Goa? For what crimes are his killers chargesheeted? RESPONSE: By your own reckoning how will justice be served by punishing those responsible for Gregory's death ? There was no conclusive finding to suggest how Gregory died; yes he was attacked but there was no wound discovered, nothing to safely declare how he died. I have not seen any follow up on this, perhaps Miguel could be kind enough to point me in the right direction. We were informed here in London that Gregory was the sole bread winner for his family. This is not true, his brother a taxi driver was in Lounginhos the day before Gregory's body was repatriated. The delay in repatriating the body, was due to the Indian High Commission, dragging their feet. The Goan Associations in the U.K. made a hue and a cry, about the death. They should have liaised with the High Commission; pressured the High Commission for some action. > -- DEV BOREM KORUM. Gabe Menezes. London, England
