More glaring contradictions(Caps added are mine, to give emphasis to a few comments that I wish to make)
Then…….. Dr. Anand wrote earlier on Goanet 2 ) When I said finally , I was referring to the final point in my last message. Goanet moderators and administrators should have been aware from day 1 of what I was PROPOSING. They had EVERY RIGHT and every opportunity to set guidelines from that point ( or EVEN SCUTTLE the initiative by simply rejecting my initial post ) 5 ) I only went ahead with mentioning names of those who would choose questions , attend the interview ( and the time schedule ) as there was no intervention from moderators or owners after a week of my first post. They ARE WELCOME to make their OWN CHOICES and SET GUIDELINES on EVERY COUNT. ( though answering ALL questions posed as suggested by Mr B. D'Mello is plain silly....we cannot expect Manohar Parrikar to sit answering questions for 4 to 5 hours ....which is what it would take to tackle all the Q's asked so far ) And now……… Dr Anand in his Final word sings a different tune when he writes……………. # When I first mooted the project , I had said that Manohar Parrikar had agreed to answer questions posed by Goanetters. The intention was that he would be faced by challenging questions from a hostile audience. I did not say that Goanet owned the entire venture and could hold me and Rajan hostage by directing us in every step we take to organise what is after all probably the first such exercise in the history of Goan and Indian politics. All in all , the Goanet ( and some goanetters ) approach to all this strikes a note of pure hypocrisy. # Rajan and I shall now proceed and try our best to make this as fair and as transperant a venture AS WE PLANNED IT to be in the first place. A few comments more of my own: 1. Dr Anand wrote earlier that the idea of interviewing Parrikar was just a proposal to Goanet, which the moderators could either approve or reject. 2. Dr Anand also wrote earlier that the moderators could choose their own questions and set their own guidelines. 3. If, as Dr Anand wrote earlier, the Goanet moderators were welcome to make their own choices and set guidelines on every count, why are they not allowed to do so now? 4. If Dr Anand and Rajan wanted to have everything their own way and as an independent enterprise of their own, why did they make statements contrary to that effect in the fist place and create confusions in all our minds? 5. Finally, Dr Anand himself admits that he and Rajan planned this venture together, and they are implementing it as per their original plan. And the moderators can well take a hike now. 6. Goanetters can draw their own conclusions from all this. The hypocrisy is evident. The contradictions are evident. The transparency (or lack of it) is evident. Need I say more?
