Yesterday 16th March, 2008 was Palm Sunday and there were lenten services in
most of the Churches in the evening which got over around 2030 hrs.
Unprecedented thunder lightening and heavy showers also lashed Goa from 2100
hrs onwards with most TV transmissions went off the air as a precautionary
measure until late today morning.
This writer was telephonically informed by several persons that the programme
"We the People" featuring Ms Barkha Dutt Managing Editor NDTV with Ms Fiona Mc
Keown mother of late Scarlet Eden Keeling in debate with other panelists on
the sands Near Tito's - Marine Shack Baga Bardez Goa could not be witnessed
by many.
This writer then brought this to the notice of NDTV Mr Vijeesh in a tele-talk
09868883092 and also the fact that some excerpts /comments appeared to be cut
out in the process.
NDTV officials from New Delhi confirmed telephonically to this writer that
features which may have been blanked out could be owing to technicalities or
paucity of time but promised another telecast today 17th March, 2008 at 2200
hrs IST perhaps with some fresh edition.
