Those who have vested interests, bad intentions and I say, plain jealousy, will
interpret this whole issue the way they want.
I say three cheers and hats off to you for arranging such an interview. Many
Goenkars are eagerly waiting to see it.
Nobody has to convince us of your sincerity and honesty. You have been
transparent and clear about this whole issue right from the beginning. MP and
BJP haters will see nothing good, but evil. Please don't waste your time
explaining and justifying your clean intentions! Ignore those who do nothing
but criticise and specially those who have contributed nothing towards the
betterment of Goa and Goans.
This interview is important for many Goans, especially the NRIs, NRGs and
Catholics who dominate Goanet. This forum has been used to castigate BJP and MP
indiscriminately. So much so that Goanet is looked upon as anti-BJP, anti-MP,
anti-Hindu, pro-Catholic and pro-Congress. This is unnecessarily creating a
divide and bad feelings, especially amongst the moderates and unfortunately,
there are some people on this forum who seem to deliberately fuel it.
I say to Rajan and Anand, ignore those who have destructive criticism, who have
done nothing for the cause of Goa and Goans, and have vested interests and a
personal axe to grind. Some of them are outright jealous because all these
years they could not even think of what you have done in a short time and that
too on your own initiative as you love Goa more than yourselves!
Your passionate approach to the local issues is seen as arrogance. It is a
natural reaction by someone who feels about things genuinely and only a niz
Goenkar will understand it. What you guys are doing is being appreciated by
Goans (who are really concerned about Goa) all over the world.
You need our support and not brickbats.
LASTLY, WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO INTERVIEW DK?? LET THOSE
SINGING PRAISES AND HOSANNAHS TO DK AND CONGRESS ARRANGE IT AND WE WILL SEE IF
DK HAS THE TIME AND COURAGE TO FACE IT.
