The article by PT should be carefully read by Miguel, who in his own post
claims that the tourists bring no dosh to bharat. An other gullible Goan voice
this time from MB.
We are faced with this nonsense since `1961.

Here we have a single number -- Rs 3000 crores per year-- as the financial
flow generated by Goa's tourism. It is buried in a lot of cant about "moral,
socuial and legal subsidies". Why dont we compare the per capita yields
(i.e. per tourist; total 2.5 million) and per capita earnings (i.e. per Goan
resident; total 1.5 mllion) to examine whether the attraction to subsidise
is really so compelling as to throw restraints overboard as the author has
agued.
