Dear Rajan,
Blame it on "Spell check" and the poor command over English ...of our
present day journos. Brar may be innocent of the
spelling/pronunciation error.
Our police are often confused, whether they are supposed to
investigate the wrong ... or to defend it. These pesky gadgets called
'mobile phones' that connect criminals with politicians and
politicians with the cops get them all confused. Money was bad enough,
now there are mobiles. Heard the cops want to revert to Morse code
signals. Our politicians cannot handle that ...with the exception of
former Radio Officer Floriano Lobo. No chance of Goa Su Raj becoming a
ruling party in the lifetime of present cops, anyway.
The top cops are wondering whether it was DSP Black or DSP Gold that
spoke about Roy Sun Naik. The story is becoming more and more
Ravi-shing. Hem ani Fio na mhunnta ani fell-tiatr korta murre!
DGP might as well turn around like Pontius Pilate and ask "Truth? What
is that?" [John 18:38] The Truth is rather inconvenient , even in this
case. Jesus was crucified. Shamba, already playing the role of St.
Peter ... in denial mode .... may get suspended.

At any rate, why is the DGP batting for the Home
Minister when his first order of business is to
investigate the claims made in the stealth recording?
Also, looks like DSP Shamba Sawant is in trouble
for speaking the truth.
