May Ball 2008
The Goan Welfare Society is delighted to announce plans for its Annual Grand
Event – The May Ball, to be held at the grand Istiquilal Ballroom, Hotel
Ramada, Riggae, on 8th May, 2008, from 9.00 pm, onwards.
The highlights of the glamorous event are undoubtedly, the crowing of "May
Queen 2008". Participants, vying for the prestigious crown, are urged to get
set and make sure they are among the select few, competing in the mega beauty
pageant, which will be supported by a panel of eminent judges to ensure
impartiality.
"Bandwagon", a leading Goan band, which is making waves in Goa, over the last
few seasons, through their magical music, will arrive with a rendition of their
scintillating nostalgic music which you will love to cherish. If that is not
enough, we also have Kuwait's top band– "Deep Impact" to take you to the top
and regale you with their brand of music, which has a spice of the local
flavour.
To take you through the evening proceedings and to make sure you have a great
