-- Samir Umarye BICHOLIM MARCH 29: A person from the family of Velgaum village who was admitted to GMC Bambolim due to food poisoning is still critical even as the health of other two members is stated to be normal.
Eight persons including Laxmikant Anant Gobre (75), Shashikala A Gobre (60), Shalinin Laxmikant Gobre (65), Pradeep Laxmikant Gobre (45), Anant Laxmikant Gobre (32), Ganpati Laxmikant Gobre (45), Prachi Pradeep Gobre (35) and Megha Pradeep Gobre (2) from Velgaum Bicholim were shifted to GMC Bambolim on Thursday when they expressed uneasiness. Later two persons died in the hospital some of them were discharged, while three of them including Anant, Prachi and Shalini were still recovering in the hospital. Speaking to Herald Bicholim PSI, T P Walke told that Anant is still in ICU while other two are yet to get discharge from the hospital. "We are waiting for the medical report which would ascertain the real cause of death" the PSI told.
