RESPONSE: I read the article, must say though, that it is not just a Hindu thing; Navelim which is predominantly Catholic Goan is full of rubbish. People living in flats throw their litter into the compound of others. These people go to Church early in the morning, carrying their litter with them. This litter is deposited at the wayside. One local Doctor had his maid disposing of all his syringes into a gully, next to my house. What is this, that is espoused everyday on Goanet, about the truth will liberate ? The truth will liberate, only if one has a conscience. Goans who litter the wayside have no conscience; the MLA's who blindly rob at every turn, have no conscience. The young Catholic Goans who raped and killed Scarlett Keeling had no conscience.....Perhaps in some matters, Indians as a whole have no conscience, cleanliness is next to Godliness, so they say. -- DEV BOREM KORUM.
