We have prevailed on Anthony D'Silva of Asolna to come to Mapusa on 11 April, 2008 (Friday Market) to do his signature taking awareness campaign that Goa should not be sold to outsiders and foreigners. He will park at the Mapusa Municipal Market's main Gate from 9 a.m. to as long as he can go on.

BTW we like his argument on not selling our beautiful Goa to outsiders.
He says " If one visits a museum, and appreciates and likes the settings very much, can he buy it for himself? Will he make a bid to buy it for himself? Will it be sold to him? "

Those from the North, please patronise in putting down your valuable signatures on that roll of paper. And please spread the good word to others, wherever it may be in the North.

Thank you

Don't sell our mai Goa for fake coins

It's a matter of deep concern that the land of sea, sand ,sun, fenni and football which was well known all around the world for natural beauty and peace loving goenkars losing her natural beauty and peace at a very rapid pace. The sea has changed the colour of her waves, the sand is mixed with garbage and the sun turned out to be very hot.The hills are been razed into flat surfaces,Green open spaces and fields are been turned into concrete jungles and hotels in front of the sea shore disturbs the nature loving people. It is really ridiculous that in one of the cases the hotel has taken the possession of the access to the beach and the day is not far when the builders lobby with the help pf desh-ghatki politicians will set their eyes on our own village houses.
