I get the impression that while Manohar is trying to build bridges,
some Goans from the minority communities are only intent on
setting these bridges on fire using whatever straws they can
clutch at.And often , as in the comment above , they are now
clutching at imaginary straws.

The bridges that were built and burnt, out of straw were by Porrikars
henchmen, by way of CDs etc.
Secondly little do these people realise that ones body movements tell a 1000
stories about the true intention of a person in question.
Porrikar is trying? to build bridges.
Goans, be it Hindu or Christians do not need bridges,because there IS no
animosity (not yet anyway). Untill people come along with unwanted RSS
publicity machine by way of CDs DVDs etc and then say ' it was a mistake', this
is NOT THE WAY TO BUILD BRIDGES we do not need your CD or DVD bridges - thank
you.
The interview was a shambles, Rajan did not go out of the way to question him
OTHER THAN THE SCRIPT ON HIS PAPER WHICH HE WAS READING FROM and porrikar
slumped on his chair? - he was comfortable enough.
