I quite agree with Mr Srikant Barve"s letter. Firstly it is surprising that SAG 
recognises around 30 deciplines of sports. If you think of the sports that are 
played in Goa, it is difficult to get past the 20 / 22 mark,  so having upto 30 
only helps in diverting attention & resources from the main, most widely played 
sports in our small state.  
I know for sure that the Goa Table Tennis association has not held any AGM on a 
regular basis. If at all it was held, it must have been a family affair for the 
President. Similarly, all accounts are fabricated & a large part of the grant 
received from SAG is swallowed. This situation exists in most other sports 
bodies in Goa & therefore i compliment Mr Barve for identifying this misuse of 
public funds & wish him luck & sucess in taking these scamsters to task.
