Dear Joe, Ruby, Aloysius, Praveen (and anyone I might have missed in my cluttered inbox): Thanks to everyone who responded over this! I'm grateful... Managed to get the required blood prior to the operations, but am really grateful to those who responded. As you might know, the Goa Medical College has a policy where one bottle (I think 250 ml) is replaced for every bottle taken. What blood groups one donates, doesn't really matter. The blood is 'banked' anyway, and a matching bottle is issued. Thanks once again! FN
