UK Coronor: Scarlett's vital organs missing Fears that the Goa authorities have tried to cover-up the Scarlett Keeling rape and murder case has increased. A startling report claimed that UK doctors were shocked to find that vital organs are missing from Scarlett Keeling's body.
The fact came to light when forensic pathologist conducted a third autopsy in the UK on Scarlett who was raped and murdered in Goa in February. Catherine Lake the Liaison Officer attached to the Coroners told Scarlett's mother Fiona about the missing organs in the first week of April 2008. However, an emotional Fiona was shocked to hear about the latest developments and could not understand why Indian pathologists did not inform her about the removal of the organs. Infact Fiona points out that the forensic report did not even mention the fact that Scarlett's uterus was removed. According to the British pathologists, lack of kidneys makes testing for drugs more difficult. The missing stomach makes it difficult to show what level of alcohol she may have ingested that night and lack of a uterus makes it difficult to take DNA samples to prove if and who sexually assaulted her. When TIMES NOW spoke to Fiona's lawyer Vikram Verma he said that they had no clue that the organs had been removed and will now find out why the Coroner's report did not mentions the removal of the organs. He said, "No organ can be removed without any consent. I will write a letter to the government and sub-division Ministry and take the matter forward. I will demand for the video of the 2nd autopsy from the Goa government." UK Coronor's report The UK Coroner's report prepared after the third autopsy in the UK makes some startling claims. Fristly, the report says that Both of Scarlett's kidneys are missing. Scarlett's stomach has also been removed from visceral cavity. The report goes on to claim that Scarlett's uterus has been extracted but there is no mention of this in the post mortem reports made by Indian doctors. There were no mentions in post-mortem notes about the extraction of uterus. http://www.timesnow.tv/Newsdtls.aspx?NewsID=7193 ~(^^)~ Avelino
