With reference to the below e-mail, I would like to ask all Goans, why do we
need:- (1) Goa Legislative Assembly propose to bring out in March an
amendment to the Registration Act to curb foreigners from buying property
in Goa, and (2) Mr D Silva to embark upon a signature campaign to stop
goans from selling their motherland?
Are all Goans BHEJA-CUM OR BHEJA FRY?
Our ancestors, so proudly worked tirelessly and acquired property and
managed homes, properties, farming, fishing etc or, business. What are the
new generation Goans doing? Yes, selling property and running away to
foreign lands to make those countries rich and prosperous.
I am shocked that Goans need the Goan Govtmt and NGOs to stop them from
"FINISHING OFF" GOA.

The recently concluded brief Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly
in March, proposes to bring out an amendment to the Registration Act to
curb the foreigners buying property in Goa. When this amendment comes
about there would still be doubts whether the amendment in fool proof and
result in further sale of land.
