Antonio, I don't think I have the brainpower to fathom your riddles. You had better spell it out or else risk following the path of Bernado Colaco who writes on Goanet in metaphoric monosyllables. Those, being mainly on the subject of how the Portuguese were the best rulers Goa ever had and how the Indians despoiled the Goan paradise.
In a single 1939 to 1945 event, 6 million Jews in Europe lost their lives. Over a larger period of time, there has been no count. You would trivialize the deaths of at least 6 millions souls by comparing any potential event in India in modern times to this. You need to look around the world and see the conflicts around it to realize that once you take away the filthy corruption in India, the sheer population numbers and the occasional communal butchering, there is a peace in the country that is much enviable. There is poverty yes, but one sometimes has a control over that in less than a generation. There is no control if for example you live in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) and rebels from one of the many groups comes to rape your wife and you are helpless. There is no control when the soldiers of the death squad comes into your favela in Brazil and shoots at you indiscriminately and there is certainly no control when you are living in Iraq and are shot by the armed groups of your own community because your son didn't join them or because you refused their extortion. So, if there is any plea for "think man, think", it is better directed at you rather than at me.
