To Goanet - I requested information concerning official travel expenses of some politicians and officials under the RTI Act. This was simply out of curiosity. The people whose details I asked for were:

Brar I have compiled the data received from the government into an Excel spreadsheet and cast it in a pdf file. The grand totals are my calculations. The file is presented below without any comment. I would have liked to have details of the travel expense breakdown - in particular the hotel expenses. I was later given the figures of the Dearness Allowance but I don't think this includes the hotel expenses. In Delhi I presume the officials stay at the Goa Sadan so those expenses are probably absorbed under some other account. But what about the accommodation expenses in other cities and towns?
