Shatrughan Sinha Released FRONTLINERS -12th volume
Frontliners celebrated its 10th Anniversary Function with pomp & show in a
glittering function at Fencing Hall, Daiya. When the Tornedo struck Kuwait
City, at the same time, more than 1500 audience, could see the thunder and
storm at the stage in the function.
The function was presided over by Ambassador of India to Kuwait H E Mr.
Ganapathy and was the stage was star-studded with Mr. Shatrugan Sinha, an icon
of Film world and former Union Minister and Mr. Nasser, a popular actor
turned-director south and TV fame actress Devi Priya.
There was an enthralling entertainment program by kids exhibiting their
talents on the stage with their captivating music & dance numbers and they
received all applauses from the encouraging audiences.
Singaravelu, welcome the audience and after welcome address by President A.N.
Natarajan, H E Ganapathi addressed the gathering with his inimitable style of
conveying the messages clearly to the community. Lakshminarayanan, the Adviser
of Frontliners gave introductory speech and N.R. Sampath introduced Actor
Nasser. Ashok Kalra felicitated Frontliners for their 10 year services to the
community.
The deputy chairman of Kuwait Voluntary Service Centre Eng. Ahmad Almershed
praised the Frontliners activities and Indian community.
The 12 th Part of Fronliners Book written by writer N.C. Mohandoss was
released by Shatrugan Sinha as the chief guest of function and the first copy
was received by Nasser as special guest. A function souvenir was also released
which were received by Air India Manager Krishna Bhaskar & Indian Airlines
Manager Surender Kumar.
An eloquent speech was delivered by Shatrugan Sinha which ended with a thrust
on patriotism and love to our motherland. He maintained his unforgettable
style and dense voice which carried the audience to yesteryears down the memory
lane.
This was followed by a short and sweet speech by Nasser highlighting the
discipline and decorum to be adhered to by overseas Indian community which was
well received.
Momentos were presented to visiting guests and also to sponsors of program
and supporters to Fronltiners by N.C. Mohandoss - the founder of Frontliners.
Gifts and certificates were distributed to the participants of entertainment
program. Mrs Shegufa Merchant, Eng. Sethu, and Dr. Devipriya compered the show.
Ulaganathan proposed vote of thanks to various main & co-sponsors of the
program and team members for making the days program a grand success.
