Dear Goa Netters, This message refers to #10, Volume 3, Issue 461, by Satyawan Govekar.
Satyawan says: if you want go on and fight to save frogs but more important is to fight to save the ponds and the low lying areas which are the breeding place for frogs and other aquatic animals. Also what about chemistry labs in college which are using frog for dissection. It is only my suggestion so please don't take it wrong. Satywanbab, it is biology labs that use frogs for dissection. With modern advancements in ICT, one can have an online dissection or a simulated dissection. Arguably, it may not be as good as the real thing, but then we can console ourselves with the thought that airline pilots spend hours and hours in simulated flight to perfect their flight techniques, on which hundreds of human lives rest.
