Thanks Venantius for posting that link. Indeed it was hypocrisy at its
worst when the pope and George Bush were both singing praises about each other.
It was nothing short of disgusting to see the head of the catholic church, with
an army of child molesters spread around the US, tell Bush that they share
"common principles founded in fear of a nebulous god". How much the Vatican
actually believes in that can been seen in the Oscar nominated documentary
"Deliver Us from Evil" which goes to show, at what great lengths the Vatican
went to protect the child abusers. Very conveniently, the pope has also turned
a blind eye to all the human rights abuse that the US has been doing.
As for Bush, the lesser said the better - He is already a certified
nutcase! Imagine him saying "In a world where some treat life as something to
be debased and discarded, we need your message that all human life is sacred
and that each of us is willed." Wonder if Bush has even heard of the 5th
commandment.
Who needs satan or a devil when such people are around!!
