I, Shri Uday Divekar, Vice-President of Goa Badminton Association(GBA), congratulate and extend support to our State Players Association under the leadership of Shashant Naik and Sandeep Heble to come forward boldly regarding present election conducted for Goa Badminton Association by Mr. Richard Vaz. I and few other committee members were not informed about the Election.
We(many club representatives from Goa) have taken objection for such procedures adopted by Mr. Vaz for imposing his own panel to win the Election by hook or crook in absence of SAG representative in the past. I am confident that Mr. Vaz cannot produce any evidences that he has done the past few Elections in presence of representative of Sports Authority of Goa which is absolutely necessary. We have decided to take up this matter with the Badminton Association of India shortly with the joint decision of affiliated clubs in Goa. I am sure that the Players Association is right and have maximum support from majority of Clubs in Goa. They will definitely get the justice. Uday Divekar Vice-President Goa Badminton Association
