I read that guest editorial at the time the issue took off more than a year ago.

Unfortunately - it does NOT support the positions of those with benevolent non-knowledge of the subject of scientific review.

The 'business' aspect of the pharma industry having been taken into account (I said this in my previous post - precisely to cover a possible response using the 'guest editorial' ) .... There is NO systematic scientific review of the claims of the Ayurveds or the Homeopaths.

That, I submit, is the major reason for the skepticism.

I am particularly concerned about side-effects of drugs.

BTW: I would have the same skepticism about any allopathic medication which made scientifically-uncorroborated claims.
