a direct flight to Goa from dxb or via... At the same time I wud say how
many Dubai Goans
would make use of this direct flight AirIndia or Indian Airlines ? There are
so many cheaper airlines flying via mumbai.
Someone from the AI/IA shud give the statistics to show
if the flight was really full all year round or just the season time.
I have been flying Air-India for the last 18 years and maybe once or twice
the flight was
delayed..and being in shipping Industry I know this is very common... theres
no doubt that their service has has gone bad over the years
When I first came here most of the Indians used to fly the local airlines,
they critised Air India very badly but it took
just one mid-air collision (Jeddah-Delhi) to change their mind and now they
fly with AI. My present Co. here
handles the flight at Jeddah airport and staff mostly Indians make sure the
flight leaves in time...
despite all the problems the air-line faces in gulf countries.
And lastly I say...there are Indians in the gulf who say boycott AI/IA.
cause of poor service (am sure AI/IA has Goan Staff also) or delays
or high fares ..but it will be AI/IA who will come to their rescue if they
are stranded in a war in the gulf
