Konkani writer passes away HERALD NEWS DESK PANJIM, MAY 3-Well-known Konkani writer Godubai Kelekar died in the Goa Medical College Hospital here last night after a brief illness. Godubai has written four books in Konkani, out of which Phultyo Kolio, a book on parenting, has run into two editions.. She studied in Mahila Ashram Pavanar Vardha under the tutelage of Acharya Vinoba Bhave. She was 83 and is survived by her husband Ravindra Kelekar, an eminent Konkani writer and Padma Bhushan awardee, and son. Her funeral will be held tomorrow, family sources said here.
