I am quite surprised at the inclusion of this paragraph in the article copied here from Tribune India.
It is quite well known that India's navy can scarcely be called blue-water and I am therefore surprised that Indian naval ships or fleets are capable of venturing from the east coast to the South China seas and entering waters that are within range and responsibility of the Indonesian navy. What national interest is served by the Indian navy solving the nuisance of South China seas pirates besides the obvious kowtowing to the Americans. Could a naval Geoncar please explain.
