Thanks Edward for the links............William De Cuncolim is a gem. That said, in the days of viral videos, I am hoping someone somewhere picks up on Concani Titatre and concani song where ways of looking at Goan life is interesting and the humor original. The kell titatre of the old days during the carnival required talent and its improv style was most lovely memory of the carnival in Salcette. In the days of scriptwriters and produced humor, we had (still have?) a great art and talent.
Just a small naughty note on the Rose's kelawalli-saantremwalla song: those of you who have lived in bombay know the kelawalli has a double meaning (lets say, she plays a dual role in real life) don't you? Specially if you lived in south bombay/dhobitalao area!!!!
